Can anyone tell me what this is and does it have any value. I have found 4 lincoln cents this week from 1937,1939, 1944 and 1957 that look like this.

I thought it looked like some sort of acid treatment and did not know if there was anything in the minting process that involves acid. Obverse and reverse look this way.
