A real looker and it's a coin you know has original skin.

The dings on her wrist, elbow, and knee, the scratches on her face - way too distracting for me.

I was waiting to see if any one else would pick up on the contacts on the obverse.

Beautiful coin. I assume you would have to pay a $1,000 to get it, and it's probably worth every penny. I would not go over $1,000 for it raw though.

I like it and better date as well. Marks don't look that bad to me. I would guesstimate its grade at around AU-53 maybe AU-55. I would go for it if it's reasonably priced.

I don't think you will feel guilty about parting with the others when you compare them to this one! Now that is a Seated dollar.

some of you complaining about marks on the reverse......buy a MS one for $$$$$ and then post a pic for us. Seated dollars in higher grades are not cheap

Wow, I am really surprised that I WON this! I placed a seemingly low-bid just to keep it on my "bid list" and went in to work for someone and forgot about it. Ok...now it's time to settle up.

I know you are working on a slabbed set but you had not mentioned if this dollar was in a slab. Regardless it is a handsome coin that you should be proud to own.

I was doing some poking on the PCGS website seeing how the "other" 1849 Dollars were represented and came up with these numbers; I did not look for the MS numbers since it is obviously not UNC, but floating somewhere in the AU53-58 range...or am I being biased?

I finally got it in the mail today. No it's not raw, here is PCGS's image of it; I find it odd that some of the coins on PCGS have images on their website while other do not and this one does not ahve the Secure Holder which have images taken along with the grading.
