I find lots of sites that have some listed, but not all. I have been piecing together my knowledge of ikes.

So far, I am aware of the FEV, but still trying to find a site with good side-by-side pics to help determine them

I am also aware of the different lettering on the bicentennials. The bold letters are pretty uncommon but I have a handful now.

I also am confused about the rarity of 1973 ikes. I just received my first after searching through over 300 bank bought ikes. Why are there only 1mil of those made?

I recommend the Ike Group, but I'm partial, being a group member and writing our next Ike book- which will have everything you asked about- all of the Collectible Ike Variations. It'll be out for digital download and hard copy purchase in 2013.

Ah, one of the authors! Thanks for responding! I am trying to see if there are any rare varieties in the lot I just bought. So far I haven't seen anything yet, but I do have one possible error I posted about in this thread:
https://goccf.com/t/133598

It has a depression, but with no scratches which makes me think it's not PMD
Have you seen anything like that in your experience? I couldn't find anything about it.
