That would be very interesting to have the White House on the front of the coin. Especially since it is the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse. From these pictures, it looks like nothing special to me.

Two of them look like they could have been clashes but were polished out. The 1980 may be PMD on the rim or may possibly be a very small clip...hard to tell with blurry picture. The mint mark post broke off due to the high pressure strikes. This is a common occurance. Happy Hunting!

Pssst . . . obVERSE. (Here I will break my rule about not correcting others' errors because if you go to a coin show and ask about something on the observe, you're gonna get a lot of funny looks.)
I still don't see it. Those dark marks you're pointing to look to me like they're a blip in the alloy, if anything. There are no horizonal lines, bars, bushes, etc. to bear out that this is a die clash. I understand that die clashes don't produce a full ghost image most of the time, but there are other strong lines on the Memorial that I would think should show up if this were a clash.

Nina...I agree that it isn't a clash but it could be a clash that had been polished by the mint workers so they can keep using the die. It just a hunch...or it could be Die Deterioration I suppose.

I still think this is an alloy thing. There's a mark above the line on the left that appears to be a continuation of that line, but is not in line with any marking on the reverse of a cent; also, I still do not see any of the other strong lines in the Memorial (like the roof, which sticks way out), which strikes me as highly unlikely if this were actually a clash.
