I no longer have a local coin shop. So easy selling isn't optional for me anymore. ebay and Paypals fees are getting ridiculous. Where do you sell to get your best dollar? I need to sell off some of my stack so I posted some Eagles on here for cheap because I dont know where else to sell quick. Any tips would be great

If you need to make a fast move..... for the limited range of mainstream bullion items that they concentrate on, Goldmart offers reasonably good prices.

Provident and APMEX both claim to buy coins through a simple process. Might be worth calling both for a quote.

I haven't sold any yet, but I'll second 2 others - APMEX has pretty good buy prices if you have the $1000 to sell.

I managed to sell here on CCF. 15 ASE for $507 :/ Pretty sad about that but needed the money. For future sales IF needing quick cash Ill check out Provident & Goldmart. Thanks for the info guys. But for now I need to get started back on my stack. :( Probably going to have to wait til the begininng of 2013 for any big purchases.

Got lucky today Sold 50oz of silver for $32/oz at a local dealer I'm familiar with. Spot was 32.35 at that time. Good I was able to befriend and become regulars at local dealers

Every once in a while I get a message from ebay that offers free Fixed Price listings for 7-10 day listings. I take advantage and put up some things with high Buy It Now prices with the Best Offer option. I calculate my minimum selling point (after ebay, paypal, and shipping fees), and accept, reject, or counter-offer bids accordingly. That way I know I'm not going to sell anything at a lower price than I want to, plus the ebay fees are usually lower than they would be for an auction.

Quote: Good I was able to befriend and become regulars at local dealers Oh so true. A good relationship with your LCS can and often does lead to better deals when buying or selling.

No problem TBK. I'm always buying and selling. Usually small stuff but still. You know how to get ahold of me. Lol

Quote:plus the ebay fees are usually lower than they would be for an auction. Someone posted an ebay fee calculator in another thread. It looks like anything under a 100 the fees are lower with auctions, and anything over 100 BIN is the better choice If I remember correctly
