Individual pieces of unique gold artwork beats coins of the same period.
There is no way these would find their way onto the auction scene, they will remain museum pieces.

If coins had been found, they would have gone to a museum for referral, and perhaps if the museum needed funds, could have officially been released onto the auction market with official Government permission.
