Rim wear on the reverse is right at the edge of some of the letters. Perfect!

Pretty lady! But aren't you going for AG coins? She still pulls a G4 IMO.

The Reverse's rim wear to the edges of E & D in "United" should clinch an AG-3, but faint color outlines of denticles remain in some of the obverse (even though the rim feels totally smooth in hand). My usual rule of thumb is "denticle-free (on both sides) should be AG-3"

We all know how PCGS & NGC go a bit easy on well-circulated CC Morgans,
so yeah I can see 'em giving this a G-4.

I just love the reverse, though!
If only the obverse's rim wear matched...

DNA. I think you have a really nice coin!

I hope you don't mind me asking. Why are you(and I know many others that do) want to put together an AG morgan set? What advantages does a set like this possess? Challange? Cost effectiveness? I am asking because I have been asking myself what lower grade silver coins would be good and fun to collect.

History. My CC-Morgans actually circulated in the Old West. Doc Holliday, Wyatt Earp or Buffalo Bill could have made a card bet with one of my Morgans.

Of course, it is also possible that my CC Morgans could have spent the great majority of their circulation lives right here in Denver (where silver dollars were heavily circulated).

But that would still be circulation in "Old West" Denver!
(meaning Doc, Wyatt & Buffalo Bill, among many others, still could have used one of my coins when they were here!)
