Unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate the wildcard search.... sorry. But..... I've got you 340 characters instead of 100! So you can use much longer and complex queries. You can pick a category and include or exclude up to 100 sellers. You have a choice from many sorts, including a few not even available on ebay. It will return pages and pages of results. Here's the best part. Build your search one time and bookmark it! You don't have to build it every time! So check it out and report back.... http://www.coincommunity.com/ebay_coin_search/

Bobby, would it be possible to make a little script that expands/fills date ranges or replaces "*" with 0-9? Something like: Quarter (1940-1955) Dime -(193*, 194*)

Nice feature, just been playing around with it Is it automatically set to a 'world wide' search or does it just show items listed on the .com/ca sites?

this will solve all the things everyone that searches for coins has been complaining about since ebay announced they were stopping the wildcard searches on the site. I am not sure how much wildcard searches are used for other things but I know about 90% of people searching for coins use them

Just to clarify, theses pages show items that are available to their respective countries regardless of where they are, not just items listed on those sites.

One of my annoyances when searching for Proof Sets are all the listings for individual Proof coins. Add (cracked, out, from) to the minus words and all the individual coin listings vanish! The minus words bobby131313 added work very well for all coin searches.

And you know once you get it tweaked the way you want it you can just bookmark it right? All your tweaks are stored right in the url.

Here's one of my bookmarks: State Quarters Silver Proof SetsAdding (perfect) to the minus words got rid of all the SGS "MS70" Set listings. Also added (non), because one listing was for Non-Silver Proof Quarters. (sneaky!) If you wanted only OGP Sets, you could refine this further by adding (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG, SGS) and (roll, rolls) to the minus words.
