So I go to the bank and ask for any old bills. Guy looks through his drawer and finds this. Cool serial number plus a star note. Any extra value?

If only that 8 was a 0 or the other way around.

I have no idea if it has any premium but still it's got to be nice to have.

i am new to collecting bills because of serial numbers. could you tell me why that serial number is something special? is it a pattern or something I'm not see? thank you. I'm still new to all this.

I am no note collector but I do agree if that 8 was a 0 you would have something but not sure with the 8 being there it would add any value to the note. The 100's have to be special to be worth more than face because of their face value already but if it were a 1 or 5 it may add a few dollars even with the 8 being there. I am not a note collector and do not study their values or anything, this is just the things I have noticed about the higher face value notes
