How much would you bid on this coin?
How would you grade it?

High AU details, I suppose. Surfaces are not natural and I believe might be whizzed or something along those lines. I would personally pass on this coin.

Whizzed came to mind immediately. The surfaces are granular and dull, sure sign of a whizzing.
Pass.

I agree.....high AU details whizzed. Stay away from the coin if this bothers you. If it does not bother you, then net VF for this particular date.

I agree with everyone, definitely a high AU, but it has been cleaned heavily. The two dings on it are not very attractive to me. I personally would stay away from it. If I was to actually buy it, pay VF or lower for it. Definitely nice, but the issues are distracting.

Issue on obverse is too distracting and the first thing that came to mind when I saw it was 'cleaned.'

I don't think the ding(s) are very bad. This series will often have dings like that until you get to MS-63. The devices (focal area) of the obverse is large and is struck just like a field. It's simply more prone to this type of hit than other series.

That's too bad. I would've went AU details, but deff. cleaned. What gives it away as whizzed and not dipped? I thought whizzed would leave dark edges on the design?

AU details and I would pass on this one. You are better off waiting for a decent AU Liberty.
