So, I want to buy 1988 and 1990 P and D mint set as well as the proof sets from those dates.

My question is, what price should I look for on these items?

Thanks for any help!

Between 6-10 dollars and 10 might be high.

They have them pretty cheap here http://www.silvertowne.com/c-270-modern-coins.aspx

I think they might be a bit cheaper on ebay, but that's a good reference for pricing too, thanks :)

The uncirculated ones can be found for around $5.50, and the proof sets $5 each.

Here's a couple of links to a local dealer I buy from regularly:

Here are some things I'm bidding on. Unfortunately they end tomorrow in the morning. I'm not sure if I wanna set the max bid higher, because I think I will lose at these bids that I have set.
These are free shipping items :)
Also what are the shipping costs on the sites you guys posted?

1988 UNITED STATES UNCIRCULATED MINT SET UA74
Your max bid: $6.00

1990 UNITED STATES UNCIRCULATED MINT SET UA76
Your max bid: $5.00

1988 UNITED STATES MINT PROOF SET UA36
Your max bid: $5.00

Shippings usually at least 3 or 4 dollars. For free ship items Id probably go another dollar higher or two. Ending in the morning is a good thing for you since fewer people will be on looking for things

Good idea. I raised my max bid by $1 on each, since the shipping is free. If it goes more than that I can probably get combined shipping from one of the sites posted. Probably the one BU posted, I think it was a little cheaper

Got the 88 proof set for $7 free SH
Got the 88 PnD set for $4.50 free SH

I'm happy with that! The 1990 PnD went too high. There is a guy with a buy-it-now for a better price than the bid I would have had to make to win it. Well, I got half of what I wanted!
The rest will come along I'm sure :)
