I got this Grey Cup Dollar through RCM coin exchange, I found the quality is almost unacceptable, you can barely see the word "CANADA" and "CUP", anyone else has same experience?

Looks like it may be a " Struck Through Grease" error, worth slightly more than the $1 it would be otherwise. There's no guarantee of quality for circulation coins, less than one in a thousand are of collectible quality.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...

Agreed, it looks like a pretty dramatic Struck Through Grease error. Should be worth a decent premium. Hard to guess a value, but maybe $10-20?

Is that a fingerprint up there?
I would take this coin as a UNC. ICG would definately grade it MS 65 Plus.

thanks guys.

Petersun: this is from RCM boutique, they exchange coins with bare hands, so that's what I got. if it does not worth much, why bother grading it?

Wait...
How light is the planchet?
It looks a bit brass (too dark).
The error is very dramatic. I am certain that there will be premium. Sell it somewhere without certification since the coin is risky.

Just like mine. Without the fingerprint our coins could be 64 plus or 65.

This is one of the more dramatic strike-through errors I have ever seen on a loon dollar... worth more than an entire BU roll of Grey Cup dollars. What about the obverse? Does that appear normal?

I mean this one. I don't own a loonie like that.
