Hello. I found this while searching some rolls of Lincoln cents. It looks to me like the planchet was clipped. I thought I would ask the error experts to be sure. Thanks.

I believe this is PMD - there is no Blakesley effect.

It looks genuine to me. The blakesley effect confirms a clip but the absence doesn't neccessily debunk it. The shape of the rim at the clip and the tops of the letters E & R tell me it is good.

No error experts have chimed in (including myself) but I believe this is a small straight clip.

I knew that the blakesley effect does not debunk it. However, the rims of the coin look like they are pushed down and not cut.

Looks like a clip. Don't see any tool marks. Rim has a rounded look typical of clips. Too small for the Blakesley effect.
