Looks like an Hindu temple token, the Elephant is the Hindu god Gamesh, the 666 might be 999 being read upside down? It might also be a one ounce round of silver with a Hindu design, does it weigh 1 ounce?

I dont have a scale to weigh it, but I will find one now. And you have a good point, it just may be 999 being read upside down. I really wish I got better pics of it there. I will try searching for "Hindu temple token" and things along hindu types of coins. I really dont know much about this coin yet.

It's a privately made silver bullion round from India.

Someone posted a similar item with a different deity just recently, in this thread. Follow the link I posted there and you'll find someone else who posted a Ganesh round, though not with the exact same design.

The "weird pattern" in the centre of the other side is the Sanskrit character "Sri", meaning "holy" or "honourable".

Thank you very much for all your help. Though I was hoping the coin was worth more than its weight. :)
