i didnt like the matte white finish the 2012 had so I went with the 1989 with the mirror finish

i know its a bit blurry, its hard to control the depth of field ont he lens I used because the lights in my room are so dark and the flash was too bright and just reflected off the coin

thanks, but I dont know about buying sets right now, I dont have that kind of money, but I definitely will take money out of my monthly entertainment budget to go towards building up from the 1986 until now and will hopefully make a set.

i havnt had a set since the State Quarters came out and those arent even anything special since they are circulated coins

If you get into sets, the 75th anniversy and 2006 sets are the way to go IMO, but get ready for hundred dollar an oz. premiums....

May be best to just shoot for those and rolls when you can....

A tube of 20 of those bottom line is about 700 these days, where the 2006 set of 3 goes for just over 300....

whats the 75th anniversary and 2006 for, silver quarter proofs?

never heard of the reverse proof eagle, ill look it up now, ok, so instead of the walking liberty design being slightly raised, its slighted indented into the coin instead? thats cool

Nice coin, congrats!!

the ASE was also my first bullion coin, actually I bought it before got to know what is "bullion", just wanted "unusual USA fine silver coin", and going by design ordered the ASE.

As I understand, your ASE have BU finish, not a "Proof".
So, generally "Proof" has a frosted relief on the mirrored field.
And "Reverse Proof" has Liberty's mirrored relief on the frosted background.
Both - Proof and Reverse Proof are beautiful coins.

maybe ill try to find 1986 and work my up each month until I get to 2013 or 2014 however long itll take me to find and start from the very first

Theyre special mint sets for collectors that had some versions of the ASE that you could only get in those sets, but theyre ASE sets.

Its still punched out the same its just instead of having the flat field with the mirror image and liberty being frosted the fields are frosted and the liberty design has the mirror like reflection. They really are stunning. My avatar is a picture of an RP ASE if that helps

that is nice, although I should start now saving up for the next ps4 and the next gen xbox, lord knows how much those things will cost on release and I need to be prepared to spend big bucks, so I have to start saving now so I'm not surprised when the time comes
