I know the market is always speculation kind of think, I just want some opinions. I was thinking of selling three 64 Kennedys and a 64 rosie. Also, what is the best approach to ebaying them? Free shipping, sell on sunday, start price low, those are the tips I have gotten for most ebay items. Same applies for "junk silver"? Edited by Broseph 11/21/2012 9:53 pm

For that you might be better off just selling it here. Junk doesn't bring a large premium on ebay and the fees can lead to you getting less than melt

Good idea! Do people just sell it at melt here?

Depends what it is, you wouldnt get any complaints if you priced it at melt though or tried to trade it

Christmas money. I want to get my wife and iPad, without spending money I don't have :/ As much as I love holding on to silver... when I'm not a poor college student, I will be able to invest in silver :) Currently I only roll hunt for my silver. These are years I have others of, so as for as my COIN collection goes, they are superfluous. As far as silver hoard goes... nothing is ever superfluous!

If you need the cash, sell. If you don't, don't. If you sell, perhaps you could buy some nice '64 Kennedys with the proceeds, for a Christmas gift! At least, that would avoid ebay and shipping fees!

now versus tomorrow or yesterday's not going to matter unless the difference of $2-3 really matters to you. Hate to be straight, but even if silver rockets to $40, you'll only going to be $6-7 richer when dealing with 1 oz of silver.

, that's the subtle point that I was making.

Right, but it would be that much in CASH, not stored silver value. Right now $1.60 in cash, $38.50ish in silver value. Most stores don't except silver value, only paper that people THINK is backed up by gold but isn't (it surprises me how many people are ignorant of the nixon shock and think that our bills are vouchers for something still)

What would a good asking price be for this site? Do people sell at melt for these types of coins or a little more/less?

First-Class MailĀ® International Letter** $1.17 to Canada
We are talking about 35$ in coins, don't need a Brinks truck to deliver it. Put numismatics on the customs form it will get here fine.
I don't know about you all down south. But we send coins via stamp mail all the time with in Canada. Just completed a 3oz for 3oz trade with a board member which both of our mail cost us less than $2.00
