Thou shall not melt coins? I don't remember reading/hearing that one. Melt 'em.

If they released them all, they would have to grade them all and sell them for way less.

Quote:Posted on this thread earlier. As promised, here are some pics of my 6 coin set. The coins are really quite pretty :) The set overall is an amazing piece of Canadian history which I'm now proud to own. Enjoy!! http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/79542274@N08/ That is a awesome set, I'm jealous, wished I had the cash for one. I really the fact they added one of the orginal bags with tag.

The Vancouver store got some more inventory in this morning...they had a 1912 & 1913 $5 PS, 4 x 1912 $10 HS, and about 3 or 4 each of the 1913 & 1914 $10 in each HS and PS.

What are the prices on the Vancouver store items?
Curious to see the premiums, if any.

Curious to see the premiums, if any. I don't think the mint stores charge premiums. Whatever the price is on the website is what it is in the stores.

@Asoul: Thx. I misunderstood and thought it was a dealer. On a different note, I've been reviewing ebay listings alot lately and have to say that some of the graded "hoard" coins are no were near the 6 coin set quality (If the pics I've seen on ebay are any indication on what's out there...) Not, by a longshot, am I in any position to grade coins but comparing ebay MS63/64 coin pics, there is NO comparison to the set quality. I was a bit hesitant to buy based on reading a few forums, but once they came in I was thrilled with the quality!! ...keeping in mind I bought the set mostly for the historical value. ;) I wish I know the grades on my set, however, I have no intention to ever grade them (unless I plan to sell and that's the way to go for the highest return).

I'm shocked that Albern/Gatewest are selling 1914 $5 pieces graded by PCGS in MS63 for about $1200 vs $3000 by J&M.
