Bryan1315 Bedrock of the Community United States 14454 Posts	Posted 11/26/2012 4:36 pm coin machine was m,y guess as well. I have seen this type of damage before and that is what it was described as. It is just Damage so it doesn't add any value to the coin over its face value. Anything that was done after the coin was minted doesn't add value to the coin, it has to be done during the striking process for it to add value Report this Post to the Staff

I think it may have taken a hit -- but I am not sure it was a coin machine and I am not sure it is PMD. And I have seen plenty of coins damaged by coin machines -- not as many as some of you, I'm sure. This looks like it got punched or stamped -- not scored or worn.
