if you look hard enough you should be able to find a coin that is damaged beyond recognition if you only need 90% or better. In the UK some old sterling coins exists right? I really dont know. so maybe this isn't an option either. If you search even harder you might be able to find a damaged .999 coin somewhere. If you just want to be done with it google search silver shot and buy the cheapest one you see that fits your needs. Or search you tube for video on how to precipitate silver out of solution on copper. This you can use to refine less fine silver to .999 and it will be a fine powder.
