As you all know, Christmas is here, so is school fees an other bills. I'm currently sitting on just under 50 ounces (49.5 to be exact) Someone just offered to buy some of my silver: 2012 Chinese Panda 2012 Mexican Libratad 2012 Canadian Maple 2012 Canadian Moose 2012 Canadian Cougar 2012 Fiji Taku 2012 Austrian Philharmonic 2012 American Silver Eagle 2012 American Silver Eagle 1991 American Silver Eagle 1990 Canadian Maple 4 x 1oz JM bars 3 x 1oz Engelhard bars He offered me 754$ (he pays Paypal fees and shipping) he's even paying upgraded insurance to protect it. 18 ounces @ 754$ is just about 42$ an ounce. I understand that some carry a large premium (panda, Taku, bars ECt) But I'll probably only get 40$ ea for everything and about 50$ for the panda on ebay so after ebay and pay pal fees I wouldn't be getting a much. Still leaves me with 31.5 ounces (not bad for a college student) I just need opinions because I sold about 20 ounces of unwanted junk for a bit above spot! Let me know everyone.

I was in your position. It always hurts. Keep the panda, maybe, and the Taku. You probably paid a good premium for them.

Getting $8 over spot for each is a great deal. The highest premium coin there is the Panda which you can buy just about anywhere for the low $40's. I wouldn't think twice about selling for that. I don't think there is any way you could sell on ebay and clear that much. Good luck.

And I would really wonder why he's paying that much over spot. Make sure you ship it insured with signature required delivery comfirmation, or some way that he can't bring a never arrived claim against you with paypal.

Alright so it's set. Hate to see them go but be paid me 754$ through pay pal and also paid 11$ shipping. It's only going 1 hour away (was thinking about driving them myself) but he paid for shipping, tracking, signature and insurance. I listed them on ebay and he made me an offer on the side (I don't normally do it but he went out of his way to call me) he's already paid. I've already transfered it to my bank. Ill be shipping tonight! Thanks everyone!

That's a good price without ebay fees. Keep in mind, when you put them on ebay as auction, you never know what you'll get for them and if you put it as buy it now, it usually sell slower (I find). By selling them all in one shot, it save you time of relisting and listing.

Thats a good deal for you, if you need the money thats more important. Debt will add up fast and cost much more in the long run. Id agree adding signature confirmation or whatever the equal to that is in canada where only he can sign for it

I think I would have just drove it to him and used the $11 for gas. Still shipping right. And if you feel bad you can always ask hime for his autograph. That way you know there wont be a problem.

I would have just driven them there if its only an hour away. But with no car that can be difficult. You got a great deal on this. I just sold several ounces for just a bit under spot.
