throwbackid Pillar of the Community 1283 Posts	Posted 11/27/2012 3:15 pm Is there a place online where I can send my scrap sterling and junk coins mainly 40% halves to be refined down into a .999 silver bar? swrbxxx Pillar of the Community Canada 834 Posts	Posted 11/27/2012 3:49 pm Many refining companies will do it. I believe kitco gives you the option as well as edi refinery. I would suggest against as the cost is not worth it as your better off just selling it and buying .999 with the proceeds. The last batch I sent off to the refiners was over 500t. Oz in which I got 98% of spot. The more silver you got for refining the more the power swifts towards the seller. Report this Post to the Staff
