Thanks, Hawk. Yes, it is the most common being a 1925 half dollar. It is in decent shape but nowhere near BU or even AU. My guess at this is that it could be graded at somewhere around Good or perhaps a bit better. That is my in-expert opinion, anyway, and I have no training whatever in this area so just rely on how it looks to me. I do compare coins of known graded quality to what I have sometimes, so do have a rough idea of what coin graders are looking for when they rate a coin. I could use a lot more experience at it, though, before becoming knowledgeable about the subject.

Awesome additions! 1400 ouces is a LOT
Thanks, Corey. These days, I am happy to find ANY silver locally. Not many people are selling. Many want to buy, though, so prices are elevated.
I started my stash in January of 2011 so have been busy building it up since then. Most comes from
APMEX, Provident, and SilverTowne with the rest being bought locally from a couple of LCSs and a local pawn shop. Friends and acquaintances sometimes have coins to sell and I always offer them a fair price. This is something that they may not get if they sell to a coin store or jewelry shop because I don't have to make a quick profit on every transaction just to stay in business. I also do not take advantage of anyone's inexperience. People sometimes have coins that their parents collected and left to them "in a jar" someplace. They often have no idea what they are worth, so I educate them and then buy whatever they have that looks good to me. Sometimes they have cull type coins that are beat up, bent, or have holes drilled in them and I pass on those coins as not being of enough value to actually keep. Also, there are plenty of folks out there with stashes of thousands of ounces... sometimes 10-20k in ounces, so my stash is good but not great... yet!

Picture is small but the Stone Mtn. looks to be better than F. Would you post a closer pic of the obverse and reverse?
Sure, no problem. Here ya go...

Apologies in advance for not having great pics here. I am still learning to take photos of coins. I'm hoping to get MUCH better at it during the winter when I don't have so much else to do.
Berk... I only have 1 pawn shop with whom I deal. He's a good guy and sells me decent coins at spot when he has some. His is a small shop, though, so he often either has no inventory or he has graded coins that are more expensive than the bullion coins I buy. I do like to collect decent looking coins, though, so try for the best appearing ones I can find. Might make them easier to sell later on if I am selling to another collector who also likes to collect nice bullion coins. From what I have read, a pawn shop can be real hit and miss. Some are really good, some rotten, and most fall somewhere in between. I am lucky to have a good shop locally, so try to give him as much of my business as I can.
TooMz... thanks, man. It pays to make friends in the coin / pawn businesses if you can. They will come through for you at times when no one else will.

My stack is good but I am still trailing the BIG stackers hereabouts. Guys like BarryG and ThrowBackKid are my heros. I am trailing in the path they have beaten, as well as some others who have big stacks but don't comment on them too often, if at all.

Yes, it is a nice coin. I don't have very many Franklins... maybe half a dozen or so. I did get a couple of them that were in AU condition a couple of months ago. My local pawn shop did not have any bullion coins to sell me, so he took pity on a fellow silver buyer who was clearly in the throes of withdrawal and sold them to me from his graded coin book. He did not have to do that but it sure is a nice goody to get once in a while. That pretty much guaranteed that I would always shop at his store.
