Can anyone tell me anything about this coin?

Is it real or a common reproduction?

It was found under carpeting in a house; the carpeting had been there for many years and now the coin has been in possession of the person who found it for about 35 years.

Thanks!

Alas, yes. It's a copy of a shekel of tyre, a coin often marketed as a "biblical coin"; the "thirty pieces of silver" paid to Judas are said to have been coins of this type. As such, they have been widely counterfeited.

We've seen them on the forum before, such as here and here, so this type must be one of the mass-produced kind.
