I would go with the gnarly old table top, but I think the first coin would convert/translate better as an avatar.

The tabletop! The tabletop!

Just kidding. I can't really decide between the Arcadius or the Khosrau II. The Arcadius because I like LRBs and the fact that it would compliment my Honorius avatar. But I like the Khosrau II as well, since no one else on here that I know of has a Sassanid coin as their avatar. Plus he has that huge smile going on.

I'll be different. I think you should go with Khosrau II. It is distinctive. As people see the avatar they will know it's your post without question.

For my AVATAR I chose the rarest error coin (a 2003d Quadstrike) in my collection, why not use your best coin for your AVATAR.

I like the khusro II, but it needs to be a little darker and with no glare.

I'd go Arcadius, this coin is untique to you as being your first. Kudos, the Persian is very distictive too! I think the table is neat, but would be better suited for the coffee table forum! Kudos my friend!
