Shouldn't we celebrating? It was on this date, April 2, 215 years ago that Congress passed the famous Coinage Act of 1792 which established our monetary system, called for the building and staffing of the mint in our nation's capital, which Philadelphia was at the time, and all that stuff.

I think a party is in order. OK -- my house tonight, 7:30. Be there are be square!

Jan

OK, party at your house. Is it BYOC (bring your own coins) or will the host provide the entertainment?

You don't have to bring anything -- I'll provide mint juleps in honor the occasion.

Sometimes I do crack myself up.
