I just joined this forum last week, and already asked a few questions. but, I'm still NOT sure how I can get new roll of coins. I know that I can get presidential/sac dollar roll from usmint with premium.
How about new roll of other small face coins like penny, nickel, dime, quarter? I've dropped by a few local banks, but they had rolls of old mixed coins only. not new ones.
anybody can give me some advice? thanks a lot!

There might be someone here that could sell you some in a roll but as far as the bank goes, just ask them to look for a new one in their stash. Most tellers don't mind taking a little extra time.

usually if you are polite and I'm sure you are they will help you,,and if you have several thousand $'s in their bank they will help you even more--they only help me a little bit

Many people here have rolls that they might sell you for a little over face, what exactly are you looking for?

doesn't seem hard to get new rolls of coins around here, its harder to find old rolls. I would never get the president dollars from the mint, I would always find a bank that had them in stock and get them at face value also

Ksyim...sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting rolls of new coins from your local banks. It may take a couple of trips back... but eventually they will have new coins in the vault.
Otherwise, I've had some success at grocery stores around here...I ask the clerk if he/she has any rolls of coins, and if they are new, I get 'em.
Works for most everything except dollars.

I would ask if they could order some for youu if they don't have any. That I think would be the way. Except you would probably have to get a box, which would cost you $25 face. But then you could keep what you want, and turn them into another bank IMO. Phoenix

I have new roll of washington dollars. so if you want, we can swap at the face value. here is my email. thanks a lot. ilovedomains@yahoo.com

ksyim I did fail to mention that in order to trade/sell/buy on this forum you must have at least 50 posts. There is also a special section here in the forum to do so. Ask questions. Put in your 2 cents. Say a quick hello to a new member. 50 comes quite fast. Once again I'm sorry that I didn't mention that with my first response. -GO

ksyim, I just go into my local bank, and if the teller isn't busy, they are always willing to go into the vault and get me rolls of new coins -- if they have them.
