I bought one 2015 ATB bullion flying-turkey and it arrived over the weekend. There was a finger print on the coin (fresh one so I was able to use a microfiber cloth to wipe it off). Lesson learned: Spend another $10 or so and get from the large bullion dealer, not private seller! |

I live a bit southwest of Ottawa, in the years metal detecting this area we don't seem to find too much old US silver. Out on a friends farm today lo and behold a 1917-S merc, probably grade about 35, not too much value but a nice find for up here. Cheers.

a nice 1921 Morgan for $16.15 at a pawn shop a silver Rosie for $1 and a VF (full liberty) Indian cent for .50 at an estate sale |

I finally got a 1 kg bar of silver, and I really like the size. My first silver I ever bought was a 100 oz bar, and I got that for about the same cost as this one  . But I don't think I'll see those prices again so I figured I might as well get what I want now that the market seems to have leveled.  |

technically today, nothing.... but I haven't updated, so last saturday I received my 10oz prospector bar from provident. Yesterday I got my 2 1oz sunshine rounds with the mint mark card and liked them enough to order 2 more, along with a 1oz bar and 100 gram geiger security line bar that come in tomorrow. I figured why not play with the "security marked" silver since I always pass on it? so far I like it. the sunshine rounds are very nice and at a low premium for any silver right now from APMEX |

They talk silver and gold down as not to buy because of falling prices but who buys on rising prices ..I mean do they think we are that dumb.

I subscribe to the Yup7676 school, his ideas and commentary were instrumental in helping me save a great deal of money with regards to buying bullion. I wish I had of started following the look out below discussion in this form about 8 months earlier.

Today is my 1 year anniversary with my wife. She surprised me with my first 5oz silver bar! She knows me so well. Also found a hand poured silver 1oz heart for me. Pretty awesome gifts.
