Hi all,

Anybody here lost your interested in the RCM circulated coins as I do?

I bought all the RCM 2011, 2012 circulated $1, $2, and $25c. I just checked all of them when the package arrived and place them in the storage box. Never touch them again.
Don't know what to do with them. Might be just spend all and stop buy them in the future.

While I like to enjoy my NCLT collection and bullion a lot.

I only buy certain circulation coins. Eg: CFL Loonie, this year penny, Loonie and Toonie. Unlike NCLT, it won't go down in value and you can use it any time you wants.

there is a good reason why home shopping channel can sell 30 year old sets for 10.00 below issue prices.

I get much more enjoyment of buying mint rolls of circulation coins, and cherry-picking a coin for my collection.

on the contrary, I never lost interest in circulated coins, at least no risk except inflation.

For example, I exchanged some grey cup rolls 3 month ago, but not I think that might be much and also need money, so I spend several rolls.

I know there is nothing to lose with the circulated coins.

I just lost interested in them. Won't waste time to collect more in the future.

I will spend most of them. Will give some as a gift for my little cousins.

I have thought of stopping circulation collecting when queen Elizabeth is no longer on the obverse.

Definitely. Nowadays, all I keep is the War of 1812 stuff, and the sports centennials (Montreal Canadians, Saskatchewan Roughriders, etc). The steel slugs just do nothing for me. Actually, I think Canadian coinage hit it's peak in 1967 and has never come close to matching since.
