Well in a previous post I bemoaned my miserable lack of finds in half dollar boxes. Today I passed by a bank I havent found anything at in ages, I didnt really feel like stopping but glad I did. He only had $4.50 in halves - 1 1967, 4 1968s and 4 1969s !. CWR dimes produced a 1963

holy cow. nice finds there my friend! someone must of decided to get rid of their old half dollars not realizing melt value is about 10x face value.

It's that 1980's mentality. Back then the Hunt bros wanted pure silver...we threw the 40% halves back, even with silver approaching $50 an oz.

Very nice! I have all but gave up looking. There is so much competition these days in my area I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short.
