Got these in a bag of foreign coins for free from a friend to help sell his other US silver.
Dimes: 42,47,47,63UNC

None of the Elizabeth coins are silver (cupro nickel)
The George V1 need to be pre 1947 to be 50% silver.

Peter1234, your remarks apply to British coins, but not Canadian coins.

Canadian 10, 25, 50 and 1$ coins were all 80% silver up until 1966.

In 1967, 10 and 25 cent coins could be either 50% or 80% silver while 50 cent and 1$ coins were 80% silver.

1968 had about half the 10 and 25 cents minted in 50% silver and the rest in pure nickel while all 50 cent and 1$ coins were pure nickel.

Thanks 1945
I didn't know that.
The move by Britain in 1947 was to help pay war debt.
