Sorry - I am not a keen note collector - so - what is the signifance of VG? - And - I look for radras but are there alpha prefixes that are collectable?

Quote: Sorry - I am not a keen note collector - so - what is the significance of VG? $50 1995 VG95 Last Prefix - Very Low numbers of them printed, only 379,999. Even rarer $50 - 1999 - PE99; only 111,999 printed. The scarcest $50 by far:- 2008 â€" MD08 â€" Only 50000 Printed. Good Luck. I have none of the last 2 types.

I would rate your find as AMAZING! (it's quite likely that someone who may have collected, put them back into the system at the same time, to use them as $50 notes; which is what they really are) They would never just be $50 notes in my eyes. I'm glad you saved them! I've found three over a long long time. I sold one on ebay a while back & I'll probably be selling the other one on ebay sometime in the future, I need a bit of cash, so I'll be offloading all my spare circulated first, last, radar & repeater serials. Some nice, some not.

I had a big day today went up to my club and met a old friend and she asked me about looking over her collection of coins left to her by her husband and her father in law , I said ok and called in at her home on the way to my home,..this is what she had to show me .. no 1 a 1938 crown ,, no 2 round .50 c x 20 no 3 ,, 3 x $ 50 old paper notes ,,ypd 376502,,ypc 366606 ,,, yvc 302444 no 4 2 x $ 10 notes 1988 ,, ab 33 448706 ,, ab 33 369383 no 5 = 10 usa State Quarters different states no 6== 1 of each , 1927 x1951 x 1954 x .20c no 7 about 12to 15 of each threepence and same of sixpence coins plus a small bag of world coins .she does not know where to sell them so she asked me to sell them for her. pictures will come later, all this has been stored away , and all coins are dirty and notes are full of creases,, I took pic , but for some reason they will not transfer over to my computer , it keeps saying no new pictures available for transfer, but they are still on my camera , ( kodak camera )...any ideas ,, kel ,,

If not, do you want to? Given my knowledge of notes, I have no idea what grade they were. They did have creases, just like every other note really. As for CV.... I'm hoping $50 each cause that is what I got for them. (somehow I don't think that is the number your gonna tell me though.)

I think I remember in a previous thread goatieman said about $80-100 for an average circulated one.
