You may be able to obtain a flowing hair dollar (to all those interested.) Stacks is offering the Cardinal 1794 Dollar in their January NYC auction (I plan on going!) How much do you guys think that coin will fetch? MY guess would be 4.7 MIL... Or you could save that money and buy an estate on the water somewhere

Gosh darn, I wish that I had never seen this topic - I WANT ONE TOO!
Your opinions are sought:

If the opportunity still exists, later this month, would a trade of a complete set of Lincoln Wheat Cents
for a comparable Dollar be doable? With a little extra cash if needed.

1914-D VG-8
1909-S VDB VF-20
Both ANACS. NO PROBLEMS.

The rest are raw. 09-S and 31-S are decent but not too special. Fine condition.
1915 is an XF as it still has a trace of luster. Nice actually.
We are talking $1700 but the guy treats me well.
How Close AM I to a reasonable trade?

I do not remember the date, but it has the small eagle.
Alternatively, a $20 gold piece may be offered in trade.
Just how often are these coins seen? If original and
not cleaned I want it. The seller willingly reveals if a coin has been cleaned.

Kids, he let me hold, earlier this year, a 1916 Standing Liberty and the 1918 over-date. True, both had been cleaned, he said so. Better than AG. Both fine.

He knows what I like. I just did not expect to fall in love with an old dollar.
To own a US coin which begins with the three digits: "179?, "
well, that would be neat!
