So with my year end bonus coming in, I tend to splurge on silver/gold.
I intended on buying a few 100 oz bar's.

My Dealer called me today saying a large load of US and Canadian junk came in, total $150 US and $150 Canadian.

I jumped on the deal he offered me and just picked it up.

He also had a few bars waiting for me! The 10oz JM is the lowest serial number I have came across at #235

Also got to view my g/f's xmas gift. I spoiled her this year and made a request in August to my jeweler, find me the two nicest 1ct total diamonds you can find. Today I got the call to view them for my approval.

Surprisingly both are exactly .50ct each, both ideal cuts, IF clarity, as for color one is a D the other an E. Now looking forward to final process of having them put into a earring set and picking them up. As I was leaving my payment for them he mentioned he had a bunch of silver bars at home. All engelhard 1oz bars from the 80's when he purchased them, around 100 so I will be checking them out tomorrow and will make an offer on those. Hoping they are all bull logos!

I was shying away from junk. But I paid around 28.50 a ounce on it so I could not pass up the deal.

Seems like there is a lot of US junk in Canada, but at that price I dont mind.

Man, I wondered what that beep... beep... beep sound was. Now I know. It was SWRBXXX backing up the truck for more silver!

Great haul for sure!

A good job in industry can make that happen. As a senior R&D chemist, my year end bonus was quite often in the $6-8k area. It was like getting another monthly check.
