Apparently, ANACS believes they have "The Industry's Most Beautiful Holder": http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/A...nHolder.aspxI'm guessing they are referring to the way the holder is constructed and the view of the coin it permits, but I've always thought that the yellow labels they use look very amateurish and ugly. Maybe it's just me, though. I'm also not particularly fond of yellow sports cars, so maybe it's just the color yellow I hate... What does everybody else think? Is this really the "Industry's Most Beautiful Holder" or do you prefer holders from one of the other TPG services?

I dont agree with ANACS at all. My favorite is PCGS but NGC is much better as well.
I completely agree that the ANACS gives off an childish type look and dont like the curve in it either.

As a slab collector, I preferred the PCGS without "the clear three finger prongs". Not so much this style of gasket; I prefer this style gasket; Nowadays I prefer the NGC with the prongs, bottom row on the right. Ever since ANACS got away from the small white holders, top row, I try to avoid them. Aerodynamic, yes. Most beautiful...I wholeheartedly disagree.

Wow, that's probably the fastest anybody has answered one of my posts. I'm guessing I really hit a nerve, eh?

Didn't even know they had clear prong holders now like the PCGS ones. I'm a fan of NGC prong holders, just like them

Are the new ANACS holders designed so you can read the top line without pulling the slab out of a storage box?

I'm thinking of having some coins done in the "retro" NGC black, there was a deadline though and I hope I didn't miss it.

Retro black deadline is Dec 31st or when the holders are exhausted which ever comes first. Members can only have small sized dollars, silver eagles, and I believe gold eagles slabbed. Authorized dealers can also have Morgan and Peace dollars slabbed. I've been trying to find one with a small size dollar in it and have had no luck.

I personally prefer NGC holders, but if I see a MS65 Morgan in a PCGS slab for melt, I won't be picky. Oih82w8, can we see a closeup of the Morgan and the Texas commem from your earlier post?
