PCGS is getting into the multiple coin holders again, which may have been brought about by the 75th SF Anniversary ASE's. You could use other coins as well as in the example below from the PCGS website; http://www.pcgs.com/I don't have any coins that I have in which I would use this, but a nice set of Steel Cents could be cool! Would you want a holder like this? Will NGC follow since they have done multiple coin holders as well? Doubtful ANACS will go along with this reemergence. BTW that Half Dollar is beautiful! The gold is not to shabby either. Edited by oih82w8 08/27/2012 10:20 am

Don't know if you've heard of the TPG company MMNS, but they actually have a THREE coin holder. I think they offer that up to nickel size. After that, the coins are too big to fit in their slab. They also offer the "HALO" 360 slab that allows you to view the coin's edge lettering.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the multi holders. I think the idea is cool, but if you wanted to upgrade one of the coins or sell one the others have to go too. Now if was two slabs that locked on the side I would be interested

NGC had multi coin holders long ago! In fact they have a 5 piece one for those who had proof sets and a 3 piece one for the 2006 silver eagle sets. I hope NGC follows suit and allows you to just choose what coins you want to put in a multi holder

My grandchildren were born in 1998 and 2000. I would consider birth year ASEs with the hundred year old Morgan in the 2nd spot.

PCGS never supported their multi-coin holder in the past (Even going so far as to deny having made any.) so I would not hold my breath about them supporting this idea either. NGC just recently dumped their multi-coin holder so I would doubt they would rush to embrace it again.

Just got coins back from PCGS, including a multi-coin holder for a pair of very unique error coins. For the benefit of the CCF board members, I bought this blank planchet, with a triple clip: https://goccf.com/t/115407It was a perfect match to this error, which I bought last year: http://www.numicanada.com/medias/pi..._clipped.jpgSo I had them mounted in a PCGS multi-coin holder, with the clips at the same orientation. Looks cool as heck - photos will be forthcoming.

Nice idea, but IMO poorly executed that thing is UGLY, the NGC ones I like better but are still way too big.
Be a nice idea for a pair of 1864 twocenters Large and Small motto. (In proof - yeah right - I wish)!

I love mine!! It fits nicely in the blue box as well. See my post above, for the individual coins.

It's nice for like P and D sets. But then they should do a smaller tri-slab for like a P,D,S set.

I used to have a few of the multi coin holders from NGC and really liked them except for the sheer size of them. But I did like having them for certain sets where the coins were the same grade. I believe the NGC holders I had would hold 3 or 4 coins though not just 2 coins like in the photo above
