I have acquired a very nice Canon Bellows FL. I have a Canon EOS Rebel T1i. I have done some research, and have discovered I need an adapter or two. Not sure exactly which one I need on the camera end, or what I need to fit on the lens end? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ham...you'll need a FD-EOS adapter for the camera end, and a FD-lens adapter other end. Both adapters are easy to find on ebay...Ray

Your first link for the camera end is the correct one - you don't want additional optics involved, just an open mechanical connection. Ray may know a better place for one. At the lens end, the adapter is dictated by the lens you choose, given the number of differing mounting systems for lenses.

Thanks for the information Ray and Ssuper Ddave. Gives me a starting point for more investigating options.

this is a great place to search out old lenses and bellows stuff! I also have this very same setup.......T1i and am using the old fl/fd bellows....IT works great.....not only that.....its very in-expensive to use adapters for most all types of old lenses...say 39MM or 42mm lenses of the day which still are completely useable and the quality is wonder full for these old lenses even at today's standards at a fraction of the costs.......also most off brand/ non canon lenses adapter's are also cheap.. say Pentax...to FL/FD no problem..so in your good will shopping and come across something interesting... its cheap to experiment with.... One of the most interesting thing I learned hear conversing with Dave and Ray is they don't own 10 lenses...they have collected an arsenal......learning the ins and outs of many brand names...and comparing them as Ray has "richly" done in many a comparison article logged here...... Of the many types of bellow out there...your bellows is a fine one, possibly one of the top 3, for the money surely the best price range, my understanding is the Novoflex has a greater.....but should say it has a "finer depth of field adjustment" as it takes more turns to get it into focus which is where Macro photography shines..though the cost is around $150 my last look I think the canon FL bellows is a solid strongly built bellows with stabillity and less vibration photo captures...

Thanks for the welcome, aladinslamp. I have praticipated (to a small degree) in the forum in the past, and gained a great deal of knowledge. I have a Vivitar bellows and found this Canon one, and am anxious to try it out. Probably won't get around to it until March 2013. Going to Arizona for part of the winter after Christmas and New Years.

Do you actually have a lens yet? You might want to wait on purchasing adapters until you know which one you need....

Yes, I have (3) that I use. Vivitar 75mm f3.5, Spiratone Macrotar 35mm f3.5, and a Spiratone Macrotel 150mm f4.5. I use the 75mm most of the time. The (2) adapters should be fine, don't you think? They are already purchased.

Thank you Ray, you are correct. I ordered the "new" T-mount adapter you suggested.
