I've had this bar for awhile and never looked in to the name on it but was told This bar was rare and more expensive since Lson was stamped on it. So if any one has some information on this bar or company please share. Thank you.

I dont know about the bar. At first glance and not knowing anything about the bar, those holes would be a huge red flag for me. I would be wondering if its been hollowed and filled. Not saying it is, just saying thje first thing that came to mind. Hopefully others will have more info for ya. Just out of curiosity, did you put a magnet too it? Did it stick?

I'm trying to learn more about bars so I hope this isn't too stupid a question, but why is there the dent at 7'ocklock and the corner missing at 5'ocklock? Is that just how the silver settled into the mould with an air bubble or something and it didn't form right?

I just put a neodymium magnet on it with a 80lb pull force and there was vary little attraction . Not even enough to lift the bar. Maybe someone did hollow it out . Or can it be the alloyed metal ? The bottom of the bar looks funny to.

From what you said it appears to have faild the magnet test. does it have a high pitched ring if you hit it with a screwdriver or hammer (or something metalic)?

Yeah silver is non magnetic and should have had no attraction to the magnet none at all.

I hit it with a screwdriver and it did make kinda of a high pitched ring, pluse I weighed it the weight comes out .23 over 3oz's. I just took it to a pawn shop they put acid on it and weighed it. They said its real . Then I took it to a coin shop they did the same and said it was real.
But both places said to do a specific gravity test to be more accurate .
If any one knows how to do this and what / where to get the tools from please share?

Well then I would take it as real. I'm sure that the stronger magnet you have...the chance increase that it would stick because of foreign contaminants and such. This is what I heard. The magnet will fall off quickly but will have a bit of attraction. If it passed acids tests by those places then I would assume yer good to go. Now we just got to get back to the OP and find out what this thing is worth and maybe some history.

I heard the Lson name might not be as significant as I was told. That its probably just worth the silver weight. But no one seems to know who or what L son is.
