That is a good article the Perth Mint have put out. Not a single fakie in 20 years! I'm a little suprised actually.

Less than a week ago, I was in the Perth Mint building in Hay street, and I asked them this question.
Their reply was that
you should not buy from anything less than an internationally recognised dealer.

I didn't realize it, but in spite of the fact that I'd pretty much already been following the article's advice on only buying from recognized and reputable dealers, all of this talk about tungsten fraud was really taking it's toll. Almost to the point of me deciding that holding Au was becoming more worry that it was worth. Perth Mint's article was a welcome fresh perspective and a needed reassurance.
