I have been interested in 17-1800's US Large Cents and I am finding my love of copper to be expanding to foreign coins...so I have a few questions for you all:)

What is the best reference(s) for 1600-1800's world copper coinage?

What is your favorite early copper?

Start with the Krause world books, then specialize by country. Krause is a broad "horizontal" reference. Any specialized references are "vertical" by country. I do not think there is a specialized world copper coins 1600-1900 book.

I like Mexico five centavos 1914-1935, Uruguay four centisimos 1860s, British pennies and two pennies (cart wheels).
