I have had this note for awhile and there is extra ink would this hurt the value of the note. Thanks for any help.

I zoomed the pic in and if you are referring to the extra brown on the front that is not extra ink but is called foxing and yes it hurts the value a little but you could still find a nice collector for it if you were to sell it

If it were an authentic ink smudge it would be very rare. Errors on federal reserve bank notes are rarely encountered.
