Quote:
1. Bullion a) SF b) W
2. Proof West Point
3. Burnished West Point
4. Reverse proof West Point (more than likely)
5. An uncirculated version that will differ from the regular uncirculated version with the "W" mintmark in the West Point set

The only unknown is whether they will sneak an S ASE (with a MM) of some type on us

Ok, those two sets shared a common coin, but also had something unique that was not available otherwise. But how do you feel about 2012 W ASE? Both proof and uncirculated were available alone and in sets with a bunch of other coins that weren't unique.

I don't know what it is, I like the sets. I have all the Premier Proof set as well as the Prestige and Legacy sets, even though all the same coins could be bought in lower cost proof sets. I plan on getting the Limited Edition Silver set also .
This summer I also got my 30th anniversary Libertad set even though both those coins were also available separately. Just love to open the wooden box, set up the little gold statuette and enjoy the set.

Love the coins but also appreciate the set

Hey Foxwoods,

What makes you think they might do a "S" mm ASE this year? Have you heard rumors? Have they ever done anything like that before (sneaking in an ASE at a later date that wasn't on the product list)? Just wondering.......

@Teach

The mint has made offerings late in the year. In 2006 I thought the burnished ASE was cool, an uncirculated mint marked coin, I bought it. Then later the three coin anniversary set came out, I had to purchase the two other coins again to get the reverse proof. I would have done the same with the 2011 set had I not found out about the five coin set on this sight.

No rumors other than the one I'm trying to start...
