Poll Question
Poll: just received my silver maples off ebay, I have all my silver in large 1 ounce 2X2's so they can stack nicely in my safe but I purchased 10 x 1 ounce sealed maples by the RCM... do i...

Poll Choices
 don't touch anything
cut them into singles but leave them sealed
cut them out of seal into 2 x 2
flush them down the toilet for a Merry Christmas to the construction workers working on sewage lines

If you have the space (and I assume you do as it is one of your options), I would leave them as is. I only say that because you don't seem to be sure. If space ever becomes a problem, which is a good problem to have, you can always separate them into sealed individuals or cut them out entirely later if you need to.

Unless you have a specific and compelling reason to do something else, why wouldn't you leave them as they are?

I voted leave them the way they are. Full uncut sheets can catch a premium down the road, but if you are looking to resale for the bullion value and easy storage, then cut them into individual coins but I would still leave them mint sealed.

it's all depends on what you want to do. If yours is like mine, you would have 1 or 2 coin that have spots. I kept them the way it is. If I decide to sell the other 8 spot free ones, then I can have the option of either cut those 8 out and sell them individually or sell the whole sheet with 2 spots one just like the way I brought it.

you are one lucky sob.. get the additonal 10% discount and no milk spot? My sheet did have 1 coin that have 1 noticiable spot and one coin with one spot that you could hardly see.

lostwords: nope, I know milkspots when I see them, dealt with hundreds of maples and all these 2006 maples are in perfect shape! paid just under 31$/oz when silver was at 34$ and thought it was amazing, but now silver is under 29$ so I took a loss... so far, lets see how big I can get my stack! I hope I get a call today as I find out if I get the job! I am leaving it AS IS, still all sealed together from the mint, maybe in a few years i'll decided to sell for a little more premium than it's worth now! you never know!
