Hey all....We've been waiting and here it is! 100 ounces! worked hard to create my little core stack and I'm very proud of it. Only thing that is missing is a 20oz engelhard and 5oz JM. Pics as promised. Thought I would share while I have them in my possession still. Took a bunch of pics before I ship them off for storage. Engelhards, JM Bars, RCM bars, Maples, ASE, 80% quarters and dimes, A few 92.5% quarters, JM&M, NTR, Koala and 1.5 polar bear. Enjoy all!       Edited by samsnate

I've been holding off on selling some silver and was waiting for the spot to go back up in the mid 40's... It's been awhile now and the price keeps dropping, last week when it reached close to $35 I had talked to one of the local buyers (who has ties to a local smelter) about selling 100 ozs and he mentioned they pay (only) 70% (WT?, I used to pay 85% min) and just walked away... This morning spot is under $30 oz, so it looks like i'll be holding on to them... 10 of the Silver rounds I have are the 8oz (½ pound) from the Washington Mint, a Silver Rounds manufacture that did not know a troy pound was 12 ounces (not 16). The balance is Morgans and some ASE's... Trying to think of the best way to sell them here as I stopped dealing with ebay and paypal in 2006. |
