So I have recently seen ppl getting these and I have a chance to pick some up at a decent price my ? Is are they a good brand to stack...I know that sounds dumb as any silver can be worth it at the right price...but on a scale I guess compared to engelhards and jm bars how do these fair

NTR bars are fine. Make sure you buy from a reputable source and don't pay much melt ($330 tops).

Few bars bring the premiums that JM or Engelhard can garner. NTR bars near melt sound good to me!

Could never understand the premium on bars. I suppose it is " I have something you don't " like every other collection but 3-4X melt for an " art " bar. Sorry just cannot see buying any silver bar for more than spot plus a reasonable cost of doing business premium.

NTR bars are generally accepted, and without the premium of Comex/LBMA recognized bars. I have had some of their 10 oz bars. When it came time for me to sell them, they went quickly (at a price above spot).

NTR bars are nice and come at a low cost compared to other brands. If you were to buy a large amount of silver and want it at the lowest price possible, NTR is a solid choice compared to Engelhard/JM.

Check out goldmart. Ntr bars .79 over spot. Sunshine mint .99. Jim and engelhard 1.99 over spot for 10 oz bars.

Products of JM and certain others have been deemed "Deliverable" or "Recognized" for trading on commodities exchange. This recognition results in a higher premium.

They also have been around a very long time and are highly reputable companies. Top dogs in the trade.

As for the NTR bars.....I love them. I buy and sell the 10oz bars all the time. Recognizable, visually appealing, come sealed, liquid and IMO, the best bang for your buck out there!

i don't agree that NTR bars will get you above spot when you sell. I've only ever seen them go for spot or below.

I have been able to sell an NTR bar many times on ebay, and after fees and such still be able to log onto SGB and buy it back from them and still have $20-$30 in my pocket. Those bars sell. 100% guarantee. I just did it again a few weeks ago. Sold the bar and went to SGB and bought the bar again....paid for the $20 shipping and added my 1.5oz polar bear. The 1.5oz was being sold for $69 at the time. It ended up costing me $43 for that coin. These bars are very liquid and more and more people are seeing it around and trusting the name.

My LCS has NTR for 326. A lot over spot but when considering shipping costs from websites seems to be best option.
