Oh, but it's 10 of them ... but still 4.5k per unit is way too much. Should be more like 800 per unit + a discount for he's selling a big amount at once

Weird. CCN puts a price at $800, and they all fly out of the woodwork at delusional prices.
It's hilarious that the seller doesn't realize putting up a small hoard actually defeats the pricing. We all know now that AT LEAST 10 are in one person's hands. That should throw water on the prices right there.

@715vkf, you should sell them somewhere around the trend price of $800 each and sell them individually. Anybody asking nearly 6 times the trend price on a large lot or 12.5 times on an individual set will end up sitting on these sets until they start asking a realistic price. btw to ccf.

They are hard to find because it appears they are being hoarded. If 849 are out there, there should be more put up for sale. Perhaps the new trends price will shake the tree and we'll see enough auctioned to determine what the value should be. A Quebec dealer has mounted a multi-year ebay campaign to convince people that all the 2007 loonies are rare, setting BIN to the moon. When he actually put up some for auction, the silver rattles when for around $140 - $150, and the GP Rattle sets for $400-$600. That represented some market data that Trends chose to completely ignore for those coins. They set the GP Rattle set at $180 (granted a tripling of the July price).

I would rather spend $800 -$1000 for the glass lady bug or a gold coin instead of this set.

I have the GP Rattle as well as the simple silver Rattle. No ABC and no Wedding dollar. Those are two coins to have. Maybe I'll exchange my second ladybug by the ABC dollar when the third coin in the ladybug series comes out, but still I'd prefer add another 800$ and buy an ms60 - ms62 1948 dollar. My feelings :)
