I think Star Grading Service may grade this one AU50, after all, it does have a little circulation wear.

At least this one is old. I found a KGV quarter coin roll hunting and can't tell what year it is...looks roughly the same condition.

I have an 1890 50c came back from ICCS as a G-4 :) That is my lowest grade so far in coins. :) Looks a touch better than this one though.

There are people (especially in the US) who deliberately collect the LOWEST grade with a readable date.

They are called Low Ball coins.
