Hi all I have discovered an 1856 Indian princess type 2 no mint mark. I am pretty sure it is fake. It only weighs 1gram.

Does it have any value to any collectors?

Yeah the image does not show it but the coin looks shinny and copper colored.

I have a real California 24k 1gram gold coin that looks much like this. So that is why I did not know right off the bat.

comparing the back image with what CCF shows for the reverse, I see differences. The CCF image is of a 1855, but still The wheat stalks on the right are not straight, and the design is too close to the top of the number 1

Yes I mean do fake coins have any value? I see some on worthpoint that have sold in the past. ebay must have allowed replica coins at some point. But they sold for quite a bit.

The only way that that coin would have value is if it is made from gold or silver other wise you won't get any money for it. And just looking at the pics it doesn't look like gold or silver so I'm sorry to say that it won't have any value

There are collectors of contemporary counterfeits that would be interested buyers of this piece.
