Firstly, fair play to the guy for getting this much for this coin but Wow, who falls for this?

In that condition its worth about £1/$1.50 melt! I'm tempted to dig out all my old grot from 1912 and label it 'Titanic'

Kind of gutting that I have an almost unc 1912 3d to list and I bet it doesn't fetch anywhere near this wirewool brushed one.

This same topic was discussed a while back... It is just GREAT marketing for nothing more than the historic/romantic story named the Titanic. Kudos to him for getting that much for, I agree, a crummy coin.
