how about I bought a roll of nickels on ebay.. the guy said there was 40's 41's and 42's.. made it sound like there were 16 silver nickels...wrong... not a one is silver..however, they are the dates described, it still really hurt my heart :(.. just sayin..

i only paid about 12 dollars, its ok.. I'm a collector on a budget lol. thats why it kind of upset me. I'm tryin to collect all the wartime silver nickels atm.

What difference does it make if it hurt your heart... If it was misrepresented then just do a "not as described" claim through paypal and you should be able to get your money back no problem.

i was just sharing the way I felt about the situation. I'm not gonna get my money back ill just keep them. I believe I found a DDR in the roll actually. I am about to post pics in just a min. its a 1941 d nickel

42's does not necessarily mean silver. How was it worded?

40's 41's and (42's)!,. thats why I automatically figured silver.. but I found a DDR I think.. I'm posting pics in just a sec. just call that whole situation a "Rookie mistake"..

Nickels are only silver for part of 1942 and 1943-45. Before 1942 they are the 75% copper / 25% nickel. You could file a dispute anyway and probably get a refund for the seller being misleading, since ebay and PayPal usually side with the buyer.
