Yep, it's a P. The mint mark for any nickel before 1964 is on the right side of the building (aside from War Nickels, which have the mint mark on top of it).
^ there's a good website to use when you need some help. Also, a RedBook is a good investment. It's a guide for coin collecting and gives you all kinds of important info. It's a must have for numismatists!
